NTPC-SAIL Power Company Limited was formed in the year 2011 as a result of a joint venture of NTPC Ltd. with Steel Authority of India Limited. NTPC Ltd. then also formed another joint venture company with SAIL in 2002 and named it Bhilai Electric Supply Company Limited. The main objective of the NTPC-SAIL is to supply poer or electricity to Bhilai, Durgapur and Rourkela Steel Plants of Steel Authority of India Limited. The company commissioned Bhilai CPP-II expansion Power Project in the year 2008 for meeting the additional captive power requirment of Bhilai Steel Plant and other units of SAIL.

Job Profile:

NTPC-SAIL Power Company Limited is making recruitment of young and professional candidates for the following regular positions of Diploma Trainee, Technician and Assistant (Lab/Chemistry) for its Bhilai Project located in the state of Chattisgarh. The position of Diploma Trainee is available in the trades or disciplines of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. The position of Technician is also available in various trades.

1. Recruitment of Diploma Trainee (O&M) (Mechanical):
No. of posts: Only 7 posts are available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit set for the post is 27 years.
Educational Qualification: Three years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with atleast 70% marks in aggregate.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 15500-34500 per month.

2. Recruitment of Diploma Trainee (O&M) (Electrical):
No. of posts: Only 3 posts are available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit set for the post is 27 years.
Educational Qualification: Three years Diploma in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering with atleast 70% marks in aggregate.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 15500-34500 per month.

3. Recruitment of Technician (O&M) Grade-IV (W4):
No. of posts: Only 16 posts are available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit set for the post is 31 years.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have done Matric with ITI or NCVT in Fitter/Mechanist/ Electrician/ Electronics/ Instrumentation with atleast four years post qualification work experience.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 12500-27500 per month.

4. Recruitment of Assistant (Lab/Chemistry) Grade-IV (w4):
No. of posts: Only 4 posts are available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit set for the post is 34 years.
Educational Qualification: B.Sc. in Chemistry with atleast four years post qualification work experience in relevant fueld.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 12500-27500 per month.
