National Thermal Power Corporation Limited has called for applications from eligible Indian citizens for the position of Assistant Chemist Trainee to work for its projects/stations. Here are the details regarding the notification issued by the corporation in this regard:

Name of the Vacancies: Assistant Chemist Trainees (ACT)

Number of Vacancies: Total number of vacancies is 30, which is divided among different categories of candidates as given below:

o UR – 10

o OBC – 08

o SC – 07

o ST – 05

These 30 vacancies include backlog vacancy of five posts for SC, three posts for ST and three posts for OBC candidates. This post is identified suitable for OA (one arm) and OL (one leg) candidates.

Period of training: one year

Pay Scale: During the period of training of one year, candidates will get a stipend of Rs.20600 per month with free bachelor accommodation with medical facility for self. Candidates selected will have to execute a service agreement bond to serve the organization for three years after successful completion of training. On completion of training, candidates selected will be paid a scale of Rs.20600-46500, which is E1 Scale.

Educational Qualification:

The Educational qualification requirement for the position of Assistant Chemist Trainees is M. Sc in chemistry is aggregate of 60% of marks.

Application fee to be paid by general category candidates is Rs.300 and this fee should be paid only through online mode. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category and women candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
