Paper Pattern:

The paper of UBI PO recruitment exam is an objective as well as subjective paper and questions asked in this paper are divided into 2 sections. Even in objective section, questions are divided into 4 sections in which test of quantitative aptitude, test of English language and test of general awareness is of equal marks whereas test of reasoning ability is of higher marks. Descriptive section is with 3 questions and all are of equal marks.  There is a provision of negative marking in the objective section for every wrong answer.

The paper in the selection of PO is a vital paper and questions asked are of general ability and language testing. Questions are not repeated in any examination though pattern is same. Questions asked are on reasoning ability, quantitative aptitude, English language and general awareness. Students have to get a minimum of 50% marks in the paper to pass. Questions are asked on the current affairs, general basic knowledge, grammar etc.

Total marks and time allotted:

A student can score a total of 285 marks in the paper and time is 3 hours. Objective section is of 225 marks and time given is 135 minutes whereas subjective part is of 60 marks and time is 45 minutes.
