Pilathara Co-operative Arts and Science College is a unit of the Co-operative Institute of Educational and Paramedical and Technology Limited that came into existence in the year 2006. The college is registered under the Kerala Co-operative Society with the objective of offering quality education at affordable cost keeping social justice under control. The college is recognized by the Government of Kerala and it is affiliated to the Kannur University.

Pilanthara Co-Operative Arts and Science College offers the following arts and science courses with affiliation from the Kannur University:

• Bachelor of Science in Physics

• Bachelor of Commerce with Computer Applications

• Bachelor of Computer Applications

Eligibility requirement:

For B. Sc Physics course alone, candidates must have completed their Vocation Higher Secondary Education in Science stream, while for other two courses, candidates must have completed their Vocational Higher Secondary Education in any stream of education. Duration of all these three courses is three years.

Prospectus and application form can be obtained from the office of the college on payment of Rs.100 by cash or through post by sending DD drawn in favor of the Principal, Pilanthara Co-operative Arts and Science College, Pilathara for an amount of Rs.125. The college will announce the last date for receipt of filled in application in accordance with the guidelines of Kannur University.

The group of faculty members offering education for Pilathara Co-operative Arts and Science College are highly qualified and experienced with excellent proven records of research experience and excellent teaching. Library at the college is equipped with the course curriculum and it has reference books pertaining to all subjects. Students are offered with access to CD-ROM and internet facilities in the library as well.
