The Indian Tourism Development Corporation Limited shortly called as ITDC came into existence in the year 1966 and it was established by the Indian Government under the ministry of tourism. The headquarters of the company is located in the city of New Delhi and it is acting as the prime mover in the progressive expansion, promotion and development of tourism in the nation. Presently, ITDC has a network of 37 duty free shops, one tourist service station, 12 transport units, 2 restaurants, six joint venture hotels and eight Ashok group of hotels.

Recruitment by ITDC:

ITDC has invited applications from eligible candidates for the position of Accountants on contract period, initially for a period of three years and here are the details regarding the notification issued by the company in this respect:

Name of the Vacancy: Accountant

Number of Vacancies: 14

Period of Contract – The initial period of contract is three years, which may or may not be extended

Remuneration: Candidates appointed for the position of Accountant with ITDC will be getting an allowance of Rs.15000 per month+Rs.3000 as allowances and PF is also applicable.

Eligibility requirements:

Candidates must be graduates in commerce with not less than 50% of marks and three years of experience. Or candidates must be ICWA/CA intermediate/MBA holders with specialization in Finance. Desirable qualification is certificate in computer applications. Preference will be given to candidates with working experience in accounting software.

Application fee of Rs.200 should be paid in the form of DD drawn in favor of the Indian Tourism Development Corporation Limited payable at New Delhi.
