sir, myslf abhishek im frm Ap... Persuing btech 3rd yr.. I wnt 2 do central govt job by completn of my btech.. My 10th % is 63% n intermediate % is 50%, n my btech aggregatn til 3-1 i hav 70% wthot any bcklogs.. So 4 wt knd f central govt jobs im eligible? And can i apply nw?

Is there have any goverment job after completing btech cosmetics.

You can apply for job in Public Sector Undertaking. Your percentage so far is good and if you managed to secure 60 percent marks upon completing B.Tech then surely you would be able to apply for the Public Sector Undertaking jobs.


Apart from B.Tech degree you should also appear for General Aptitude Test for Engineering (GATE). You don't need to apply for post graduation course, but just clear the GATE exam. Several PSU companies actually ask for the GATE score of the candidate.


The exam pattern for PSU exam is written exam followed by interview. However in recent years, various PSU companies have changed the exam pattern. Instead of written test, they ask for GATE score from the candidate. This is why it would be wise if you appear for the GATE entrance exam.


The notification of the exam is released by each company separately. Before applying make sure that there are vacancies for the Computer Science Engineering. Here is the required criteria to appear for PSU entrance exam.



Eligibility

1. Only Indian nationals can apply.

2. B.Tech degree from a recognized university.

3. Minimum of 60 percent marks.

4. There should be no pending backlogs.

5. A valid GATE score.

6. Age limit is 21 to 30 years.

7. There is 3 years relaxation for OBC.

8. SC/ST gets 5 years relaxation.
