Uttarakhand Power Corporation Limited was established with the name of Uttaranchal Power Corporation Limited. The corporation was incorporated under bthe companies act, 1956 in the year 2001. The corporation is the frontline state power disctribution utility 7 service provider of power supplu to the 13 districts of Uttarakhand state. The corporation is the first electrical utility of the country which intiated women empowerment by recruiting women in its various divisions. The corporation mainly aims to provide cost effective and good quality power supply in all the 13 districts of the Uttarakhand.

Job Profile:

Uttarakhand Power Corporation Limited is making recruitment of eligible Indian Citizens on the following posts of Assistant Engineer and Junior Engineer. The vacancies are available in the disciplines of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering.

1. Recruitment of Assistant Engineer Trainee (Electrical & Mechanical):
No. of posts: Only 29 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should have age in between 18-35 years of age.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.

2. Recruitment of Assistant Engineer Trainee (Civil):
No. of posts: Only 5 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should have age in between 18-35 years of age.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.

3. Recruitment of Junior Engineer Trainee (Electrical & Mechanical):
No. of posts: Only 77 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should have age in between 18-35 years of age.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.

4. Recruitment of Junior Engineer Trainee (Civil):
No. of posts: Only 13 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should have age in between 18-35 years of age.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.

Application Fee:

Rs. 400 is the application fee that is need to be submitted by the General and OBC candidates. Candidates belonging to SC/ST categories are required to submit an application fee of Rs. 200 only. The application fee must be paid in the form of a crossed Demand Draft drawn in favour EE (HQ), UPCL payable at Dehradun. The demand draft should be drawn from a scheduled bank.

Selection Process:

Selection of candidates will be made through the conduct of a competitive Written Examination followed by a Personal Interview Test.
