Konark Institute of Science & Technology is an ISO 9001:2001 certified institution and it is one of the most emerging engineering colleges in the state of Orissa. The institute came into existence in the year 2001 under Bidyasagar Charitable Trust and the college is located a few kms away from the capital city of the state Bhubaneswar. Admission Procedure:

B. Tech: Admission of students to the four-year B. Tech course offered by the Konark Institute of Science & Technology is strictly according to the regulations of the Government. For getting into this course, candidates must possess either Orissa Joint Entrance Examination or All India Engineering Entrance Examination score and minimum eligibility to appear for the Orissa Joint Entrance Examination is a pass in higher secondary examination. Out of the total seats available for B. Tech course, 10% of the intake capacity shall be offered under the scheme of tuition fee waiver for physically challenged, economically backward and women candidates in the ration of 1:3:2 according to the notification of AICTE.

M. Tech: Admission of students to the two-year Master of Technology course is done strictly based on the merit secured by candidates in PGAT merit rank and choice of students with respect to course and institution given during counseling. Candidates must be either PGAT of GATE rank holders in the concerned academic year. For applying to the M. Tech course GATE/Non-GATE candidates, must have completed their UG Degree in appropriate branches of engineering with not less than 50% of marks or equivalent CGPA (45% and appropriate CGPA for reserved category candidates)

MBA: Admission to the two-year MBA course will be done strictly based on the regulations of the Government and for applying to this course, candidates must have valid OJEE score in concerned academic year. Candidates must have completed their UG degree of three-year duration from a recognized university securing not less than 50% of marks (45% for reserved category candidates).
