The candidates those who have completed their Master of Science (M.Sc) programme in Agriculture with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks (55% in case of SC / ST candidates of C.G. State)or equivalent GPA from a recognized University are eligible to apply for the Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya PhD in Agriculture CET. Those in the final year of M.Sc course are also eligible to apply for the same.

The application form along with the information brochure can be obtained from the office of the Registrar, Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Krishak Nagar, Raipur (C.G) – 492012 on payment of Rs. 200/- (Rs. 50/- in case of SC and ST candidates of C.G. State). One can also obtain the application form via post for which a request along with crossed DD drawn in favour of Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Raipur (C.G) payable at Raipur along with self addressed envelope affixed with postal stamp of Rs. 20/- has to be sent. The candidates can also download the application form from the university’s official website www.igau.edu.in. The completed application form along with the required enclosures has to be sent to the ‘The Registrar’, Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Krishak Nagar, Raipur - 492 012 (C.G.) either by post or in person on or before the due date.
