MBA or PGDM in Agribusiness is equivalent to M.Sc Economics or not?
Indira Gandhi Agriculture Univercity Raipur is offering MBA(Agri. Business)from 2014.i want to know that MBA (Agri)is post graduate degree in Agriculture or post graduate diploma in Agriculture and MBA(Agri.)is equalent to M.Sc.Economics or not.

No, MBA Agribusiness is not equivalent to M.Sc economics. Both the courses concentrates on different specialization. MBA Agribusiness students learns about how to develop the agricultural sector and also in administration and business development point of view in agriculture. It is an in-depth knowledge of agricultural business. In MSc Economics they cover Indian economic point of view not a business or administration in Agricultural but in MSc economics they have agricultural related optional paper in there semesters. So only peoples are confused with MBA agribusiness to MSc economics. |
