Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. came into existence as a result of the joint venture of Government of India and Government of Karnataka. The corporation is considered as a special purpose vehicle for implementing the Bangalore Metro Rail Project. The Banglore Metor is also named as Nammo Metro. The main idea behind the establishment of the Bangalore Metro is to increase the comfort level of the passengers while travelling. The Bangalore Metro is expected to be the first metro rail project in India commissioned with the 750v DC Third Rail on Standard Gauge.

Job Profile:

Applications are invited from eligible Indian Nationals for filling up the vacant positions of Senior Engineer in Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd.. The posts are available in various disciplines such as Signalling/ Telecommunication. Automatic Fare Collection, Electric Traction/ Electrical Maintenance/ Lift & Escalator, Rolling Stock Maintenance and Civil Structure Works. All candidates are required to have a good communication command over Kannada language.

1. Recruitment of Section Engineer (Signalling/ Telecommunication/ Automatic Fare Collection):
No. of posts: Only 5 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should not be more than 28 years of age as on 1 January 2012.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have done Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or Electronics and COmmunication ENgineering or Instrumentation & Control Engineering or Telecommunication or Applied Electronics & Instrumentation or Computer Science and Engineering.
Pay Scale: Cosnolidated salary of Rs. 16000-30770 per month.

2. Recruitment of Section Engineer (Electric Traction/ Electrical Maintenance/ Lift & Escalator):
No. of posts: Only 2 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should not be more than 28 years of age as on 1 January 2012.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have done Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Electronics and Communication Engineering or Applied Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering or Telecommunication or Mechanical Engineering.

Pay Scale: Cosnolidated salary of Rs. 16000-30770 per month.

Selection Process:

Shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview test on the basis of the initial screening of their application form. Candidates must prepare well for the interview test in order to secure their selection on desired position.
