The candidates that will be select for the post of Maintainers engineer will be paid in the pay scale of Rs. 10170 – 18500/-. Section engineer is a Group C post.And no career growth in railway as SE.No further promotion for section engg in entire life.so why you are talking for SE post.
Even je got promotion upto suptd Engineer or Exn engineer in other deptt but no further promotion for SE in railway.I have resign from SE jobs which i join in 2008 and finally got job in a psu.

The Questions will be of objective type with multiple answers and likely to include questions pertaining to General Awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence and Reasoning and Technical Ability for the post. The question paper will be in English, Hindi, Urdu and Local language as indicated in Para-15 given below and duration of the examination will be 2 hours with 150 questions.
