Mastek is one among the top Indian IT companies that offer software solutions and integration services for their clients across globe. The company often conducts on campus/off campus recruitments for selecting professionally qualified candidates.  B.Tech/B.E/MCA holders with at least 60% marks in 10th, 12th, and graduation can participate in the recruitment process. Selection of suitable candidates is made through the stages of written test, GD, and HR + technical interview. Questions on C++, RDBMS, programming ability, verbal ability, analytical/quantitative ability, and case studies are asked for written test.

Eligibility Criteria for Campus Placement in Mastek

Fresh graduates from technical field are usually considered for campus placement in Mastek. B.Tech/B.E/MCA graduates are considered for the process of recruitment. B.Tech/B.E degree must be obtained in any of the streams of Information Technology, Computer Science, or Electronics and Communication. M.Sc holders in streams of Computer Science or Information Technology can also apply. Required qualification must be obtained with a minimum of 60% marks. Apart from this, eligible candidates must have obtained a minimum of 60% marks in 10th and 12th. Applicant should have excellent verbal and written communication skills. They should be free of backlog papers.

Campus Recruitment Process in Mastek

Campus recruitment in Mastek is made through a three stage process.

  • Written Test
  • Group Discussion
  • Technical + HR Interview

Questions on C++, RDBMS, Programming Ability, Verbal Ability, Analytical/Quantitative Ability, and Case studies are asked for written test. Fifteen questions are asked from the session of C++. OOP concepts, Friend Function, Looping structures, etc are asked for the session. Next two sections include 15 questions each from the topic of RDBMS and programming ability. In the section of verbal ability, there will be 15-20 questions. Choosing the right alternative, comprehension, synonyms, etc are asked for verbal ability section. From the section of analytical/quantitative ability, there will be 15 questions. Logical reasoning, venn diagram, etc forms the syllabus for this section. In Case study, there will be 5 questions. Those who clear the written test can undergo GD session.

Good command over language and ability to put ideas together quickly are desirable to win GD round. GD is followed by technical cum HR interview. Questions on self introduction, personnel strength and weakness, C/C++ concepts, RDBMS, etc can be expected for the interview section. The personality, attitude, communication skills, ability to work under pressure, etc are evaluated in this final round. Those who clear the all the three stages of selection process are given with offer letter in the role of ‘Programmer Trainee’.
