Mastek is a software company which provides software solutions to the different organizations. Every year the company provides an opportunity to the students to work as a part of this reputed organization. For this purpose a recruitment process is carried in which candidates are selected based on their performance in different rounds of the test.

Recruitment Process

The recruitment procedure has basically three stages. The following are the three stages :

1. written test

2. group discussion

3. personal interview

Written Test

The written test is divided into five sections. They are Aptitude, Verbal, C Programming, Algorithm and RDBMS. The number of questions in all the sections is twenty. There is a sectional cut-off in each section. The total number of questions is nearly 100.The test lasts for around 80 minutes to two hours depending on the number of questions which vary. Negative marking is there and it is generally 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

Group Discussion

After clearing the written test the next stage is group discussion. Thus the students need to be well prepared about current affairs for the group discussion.

Interview

Then the next stage is technical interview and after that there is HR interview round. A student must have a hold over C language and Data Structure and must have basic knowledge about their core subjects.

Thus a very good preparation must be done for getting through the recruitment procedure. A student needs to perform in all the stages and thus an overall performance is necessary.

In the technical interview questions are basically asked on C++ and RDBMS.
