Allahabad Bank was established on April 24, 1865 by a group of Europeans. It is the oldest joint stock bank of the country. The headquarter of the bank was relocated to Calcuatta in the year 1923. Allahabad bank opened its first overseas branch in the year 2007 in Hong Kong.
Job profile:
Candidates can apply for the posts of Clerk cum Cashier different branches of Allahabad Banks in different states.
Eligibility:
Candidates should be between 18 to 28 years of age as on 1 January 2010. Age relaxation as per rules.
Educational Qualifications:
Candidates are required to have passes Higher Secondary Examination or its equivalent from a recognized board with minimum 60% aggregates marks.
No. of posts: There are total 990 posts available for the the position of Clerk cum Cashier in Allahabad Bank.
Pay Scale: Candidates will be given the prescribed salary of Rs. 4410-13210/-
Selection process:
Candidates will have to undergo a written examination thata will be held on March 14, 2010. Candidate’s performance in the examination will play a major part in the final selection for the posts.
