IGNOU BCA Semester V Exam Papers

IGNOU provides a degree course in computer application for those who cannot do a course on a regular basis. The duration of the course is minimum three years. It can be extended to a maximum of 6 years. Study material is sent to the candidates by the university. The exams consist of two parts- assignments and term end examination. The assignments are to be done by the candidates in their homes. The term end examination is held twice every year.

The pattern of the term end examination is given below:

The question paper consists of several parts, with each part having its own significance.

• The first section contains objective type questions. all the topics are covered i.e. the entire syllabus is covered in these questions. every question has four different options with a single correct answer.

• The second part contains short questions. the questions are theory based as well as programming based.

• The third part contains questions which require detailed answers.

These days most of the questions are being asked in reference to modern technologies and the new advancement in software sector. Also importance is being given to the programming aspects and computer science with emphasis on use of various Computer Languages.
