IGNOU BCA Semester IV papers

It is not possible for many to pursue a regular educational course. Their problem is solved by the distant learning courses provided by IGNOU. IGNOU also provides an undergraduate degree in Computer Application. The degree course is UGC recognized. The faculty at the university prepares the study material and sends the same to the candidates’ homes.

The eligibility for the course is 10+2 with Math as a distinct subject. Candidates without math at their +2 level need to do both MTE-03 and CIC alongside the BCA first semester. The candidates should finish these courses before registering for the third semester. The duration of the course is 3 years minimum and maximum it can go to 6 years.

The BCA fourth semester program structure is given below:

1. Introduction to DBMS (CS-06). The credits are 4.
2. Introduction to Computer Organization (FHS-01). The credits are 8.
3. Window Programming (CS-65). The credits are 2.
4. Multimedia (CS-66). The credits are 2.

The exams are held in two parts. The first part is Assignment and the second is Term End Examination. The students should submit the assignments when they complete them at their homes. The term end examinations are held two times every year.
