Agasthya College of Management Studies was formed in the year 1999 and the college is affiliated to Mangalore University. The college was founded by the Educationists belonging to ‘Shubha Mangala Educational & Charitable Trust’ with the objective of providing training facilities required for developing leadership qualities and skills of a practicing manager, motivating interdisciplinary approach in all areas of management and assisting both medium and small level industry and trade to solve the problems arising in the ever-changing business environment.

Courses Offered:

Agasthya College of Management Studies is offering under graduation courses like Bachelor of Business Management, Bachelor of Arts in Human Resource Management and Bachelor of Computer Application. The college is also offering Master of Business Administration in areas like public relations, international business management, advertising management, hospital administration, hotel management, human resource management, marketing management and finance management. The college also offers diploma in retail trade and logistics & Shipping.

Eligibility Criteria:

For getting admission to the UG and diploma courses, the candidate should have completed Pre-University Examination conducted by the Karnataka state PUE board or any other examination considered as equivalent by the University of Mangalore. In the case of B.C.A course alone the candidate must have secured a minimum of 45% of mark in the above-mentioned qualifying examination. Candidates who have completed their first year UG course in any other universities can also join the second year of the course in the college provided the candidate must have passed in all the subject of the first year examination. For getting admission to the MBA course, the candidate must have obtained a Bachelor degree in B.A, B. Com or B.B.M from a recognized university. A written test is conducted by the college for admitting students to the MBA course.
