This college is managed by Al Ameen Charitable Fund Trust which was established by Dr. Mumtaz Ahmed Khan in 1979. A group of leading Muslim personalities became its member to start educational and welfare organizations for the benefit of Muslim community in Bangalore.

The dental college and its hospital were founded in the year 1991 at Bijapur. This trust also maintains various primary schools, high schools, Junior Colleges, College of education, College of Pharmacy, an Engineering College, a Law College and a School of Nursing, and a Polytechnic Institute for the benefit of the Muslim people.

It also manages three separate hospitals one at medical college campus, one at dental college campus and another hospital for women and children in Bijapur district of Karnataka.  The courses offered in this college are affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore and Dental Council of India.

This is a self finance minority college established for helping the Muslim population in the district of Bijapur.

Hostel:

Two hostels are available in the campus, separately for men and women. Moulana Azad’s Men’s hostel can accommodate 300 students and Bibi Khadija Ladies hostel can give room for 300 lady students. In addition to the above, the campus also contains another hostel for PG students alone which can retain 300 more students.

The candidates from medical and dental college will be sharing the same hostel service together. On the whole, the hostel rooms are capable of serving 900 students. The hostel owns a separate mess and kitchen. Strict discipline is maintained at the college and hostel premises by the management.

Transport:

The management also extends 3 buses for transporting students from other parts of Bangalore.

Maintaining such a large campus with vast student community from 3 colleges is not fulfilled without a bank and post office facility. Hence, college campus has extended provisions for banking and post office which is common for all the 3 colleges.
