Anil Neerukonda Institute of Technology and Sciences (ANITS) works under the control of the Anil Neerukonda Educational Society (ANES) that was set up in the year 2001. The institute is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi.

The institute is also approved by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. The institute is affiliated to the Andhra University and it is accredited by the National Board of Accredition.

The undergraduate courses available in the college are B. Tech (Biotechnology), B. Tech (Computer Science & Engineering), B. Tech (Electrical & Electronics Engineering), B. Tech (Electronics and Communication Engineering), B. Tech (Information Technology), and B. Tech (Mechanical Engineering). The duration of the courses is four years.

The post graduate course available in the college is MCA (Master of Computer Application). The duration of the course is three years.

Eligibility criteria for getting admission:

The candidates, who have passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects, are eligible to apply for the B. Tech courses. They must get qualified in the EAMCET Exam in order to get admission for the B. Tech course in the college. The management seats for the course are filled as per the guidelines of APSCHE.

The candidates, who have passed graduate degree with Mathematics as one of the subjects at least in 10+2 class, are eligible to apply for the MCA course. They must get qualified in the Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET) in order to get admission for the MCA course in the college.
