Asia Pacific Institute of Management Entrance Test Papers


Asia Pacific Institute of Management is a renowned B-School of country. The selection process of the institute consists of two stages. The first stage is a screening test and the second stage is Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

For the screening test applicants are required to sit in any of the following exams:

a. CAT, conducted every year by the Indian Institutes of Management. Students have to get at least fifty percentile.

b. MAT or the Management Aptitude Test. This test is conducted by AIMA.

c. XAT which is conducted very year by XLRI, Jamshedpur.

Applicants who are company sponsored and the international applicants need not appear for the screening test.

The second stage of selections is Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Candidates who clear the written test successfully are called for a GD and then a PI.

Final selection to the Institute depends on how a candidate performs in all the three components of the selection process. The overall performance in it matters. The academic records, work experience and extra curricular activities are the other things which the Institute considers before giving admission to a candidate. It is important to solve as many CAT papers as possible so that the first part does not pose any hindrance to admission.
