National Institute of Technology (Karnataka) was established in the year 1960 as an autonomous university. Mr. S. C. Tripathi is the present Chairman of the institute while Mr. G. Umesh is on the position of Director. The institute offers various undergraduates as well as post graduates courses. The institute has an urban campus located at Suburban spreaded in the area of 295 acres. The institute is considered as one of the 30 national Institutes of technology present in india. The institute is also recognized as an Institute of national Importance.

Job Profile:

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the vacant teaching positions of Assistant Professor in National Institute of Technology (Karnataka). Eligibility:

All interested candidates must strictly follow the age criteria set for the posts of Assistant Professor in National Institute of Technology (Karnataka). Candidates must posses the prescribed educational qualification i.e. Master’s degree from a recognized institute or university. Candidates should also have secured minimum 60% marks in aggregate at the Master’s as well as Bachelor’s degree level. Besides this, candidates should also have cleared the NET examination conducted by CSIR, UGC. Candidates with Ph.D. degree in concerned discipline will get preference.

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will get the prescribed amount of salary i.e. Rs. 37400-67000 with the Grade Pay of Rs. 9000.

Selection Process:

Selection of best suitable candidates will be made through the conduct of a Interview Test that will be taken by a Selection Committee. Only shortlisted candidates (shortlisting of candidates will be made on the basis of their application form only) will be allowed to appear in the interview test.
