Assistant Review Officer, High Court of Allahabad
High court of Judicature, Allahabad came into existence in the year 1919. At present the total strength of the judges at Allahabad is 160. It has the following subordinate courts under it – District and Outlying Courts of U.P, Administrative Judges for Districts of U.P, District Judges of District Courts of U.P and Notification of Transfer of Judicial Officers.Job profile: A candidate as an assistant officer will be required to help the seniors in the execution of various legal activities. An officer will be required to review the matter given to him before bringing it into action and do the necessary changes if required.
Eligibility: A candidate must be between the age of 21 and 35 years as on 01.07.9. However, relaxation can be claimed.
Educational Qualifications: A candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree from a University established by Law in India. A candidate must possess a good knowledge of Data Entry, Word Processing and Computer Operations.
No. of posts: There are 468 posts in total out of which 3 are backlog vacancies for STs only. The rest of the posts are further divided as SC – 98, ST – 09, OBC – 126 and GEN – 232.
Pay scale: The candidates will be given a pay scale of Rs5200-20200 plus a grade pay Rs2800. Other allowances will be given as per the rules.
Selection process: The selection procedure comprises of 4 stages that are preliminary written exam, main written exam, computer knowledge test and an Interview.
How to apply: The candidates are required to apply in the application format given on the website. The candidates have to send the copies of their certificates and a DD of Rs300 (for GEN/OBC) and Rs150 (for SC/ST) drawn in the favor of Registrar General, High Court, Allahabad that should be payable at State Bank of India, High Court Branch, Allahabad. The candidates are also required to send a self addressed envelope with a stamp of Rs22.
The applications must be sent to The Deputy Registrar, A.R.O Examination Cell, and High Court – Allahabad. The candidates must write “Application for the post of Assistant Review Officer”
The last date to apply is 30th September 2009.

Ye sahee baat hai payscale 9300-34800+4200 ho gayi hai….joining letter mein pehle payscale 5200-20200+2800 likha hai, phir uske baad bracket mein 9300-34800+4200 likha hai. RO ki 9300-34800+4600 hai, to phir Section Officer ki payscale kya hai?

Review officers have been granted a basic of 17140 or scale of 9300-4600 in month of august. Which means an automatic upgradation for aro., this is confirmed by an RO himself. Cheers joining before 20 oct.

There are chances for further recruitment, but can not say, whether it would be through next exam or by issuing joining letters to eligible candidates of this exam only. I could only say wait and watch.

dear friends, through some reliable sources it has been transpired that joining letters shall be issued either by 26-27th of september or following the vacation of dashara and if later may so happen, we may have to wait for 20-25 days more.

ARO ki payscale 9300-34800 hone wali hai ye baat tumhe kahan se pata chali? Mainne jab High court mein payscale ke baare mein poochha to unhone bataya ki payscale nahin badhayee gayi hai. Joining ke baare mein poochhne par unhonne bataya ki kisi committee ki meeting honi hai usi mein faisla liya jaayega. Isliye jo ladke yahan committee waali baat bol rahe hain wo sach hai, par payscale badhne ka to koi saboot nahin hai, tumhe kaise pata chala is baare mein?

Ummed hai agle saal hee hoga. Agar bahut jaldi hua to shayad december last mein ho jaaye. Mera aap sab se anurodh hai ki aap log joining ka intezaar karne ke bajaay aur exams ki taiyyari karein, khali baithne ka koi matlabb nahin, ho sakta hai aapko kuchh isse bhi achchha mil jaaye.

the scale and grade pay has been upgraded to 9300-4200, confirmed from high court itself.. Don’t know about state govt system but in central govt as per DOPT notification posts having a GP of 4200 and above are group B.

Aapke muh mein ghee shakkar bhai, agar aisa hua to ARO wakai mein ek officer ki shreni mein aa jaayega. Par 5200-20200+2800 to VI Pay Commisssion ki hee scale hai. Abhi tak High Court mein Section Officer ki Scale 9300-34800+4200 thi, yahi pay scale Review Officer ki bhi thi. Iska matlab ye hua ki ye dono ya to 9300-34800+4600 ya phir 15600-39100+5400 ho jaayeinge, agar aisa hua to Review Officer ki post Gazetted ho jaayegi. Aur sach mein ye badi khushi ki baat hogi. Main Bhagwan se yahi praarthana karoonga ki aapki baat sach saabit ho. Kyoni aisa hone par Highcourt ka ARO UPPSC ke dwara bharti kiye jaane waale ARO se zyaada bada ho jaayega kyonki uski paysacle ab bhi 5200-20200+2800 he hai. Waise mainne uppsc ke dwara liya jaane wale RO/ARO ka bhi pre pass kar liya. Usmein mera roll no. 025858 hai. Par main HIgh court wala hee ARO join karoonga kyonki mujhe aisa pata chala hai ki High court ke ARO ka promotion tez hai aur High court allowance zyaada deta hai isliye iski tankhwah bhi zyaada hee banti hai.

Bhai mere kehne ka ulta matlab mat nikaliye. Main wahi keh raha hoon, jaisa ki mujhe pata hai. Hum sabhi jaante hain ki Upper Division Clerk ki payscale 5200-20200+grade pay 2800 hoti hai. Yahi payscale ARO ki bhi hai, iska seedha matlab yahi hua ki ye bhi wahi hai, bas iska naam badal kar Assistant Review Officer kar diya gaya hai. Waise bhi agar highcort bahut zyaada allowance bhi de de to bhi tankhwah (salary) 20 ya 22 hazaar ke upar nahin jaayegi. Aap khud dekhiye, hum logon ka interview nahin hua hai, Aisa keval clerical posts ke liye hee hota hai, kya aap kisi bhi aisi officer post ke baare mein bata sakte hain jismein interview na hota ho? Yahi sach hai, aisi koi bhi officer grade ki post nahin jiske liye interview na hota ho. Ye alag baat hai ki 8 ya 10 saal mein promotion paa ke ARO ki condition kuchh achchhi ho jaaye, but at the time of joining ARO would be nothing more than Upper Division Clerk. My Roll No. is 17944 and my Date of Birth is 18-04-1988.

There is no need to be so much exhilarated. The post is very ordinary, It is just equivalent to Upper Division Clerk. Merely naming of the clerk as Assistant Review Officer will not going to change the nature of the job. Salary would not be more than 20000. What do you expect from such a low Pay Scale of 5200-20200 + 2800? I have also been selected for the post, but I have not lost control over myself. All your happiness would be converted to tears of blood on the day of joining, as on that day you would become aware of the true nature of job.
