U.P Rural Institute of Medical Sciences & Research (RIMSNR) came into existence in the year 2006. The institute was set up in accordance with the UPRIMS&R, Saifai, Act 2005. The institute offers excellent medical education through state-of-the-art facilities.
This premier teaching and research institute mainly aims to provide excellent medical facility to the rural population in the area from Mathura to Auraiya and from Furrukhabad to Bhind. Dr. (Brig.) T. Prabhakar is the Director of the institute.

Pay Scale – Rs. 37400-67000 + Grade pay of Rs. 9000
Eligibility:
Age Criteria - The maximum age limit for Professor - 55 years, Addl. Professor - 50 years, and Assistant Professor - 40 years (Relaxable as per rules).
Educational Qualification and Post Qualification Experience – The candidates must have specific educational qualification and post qualification experience for the post. Selection Process:
The selection for the post is through interview. The interview will be held in May/ June 2011 at the Administrative Block of the institute.
