Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board has invited applications from eligible candidates for various positions under Group B and Group C position among which the position of Auxiliary Nurse/midwife comes under the category of Group C position and here are the details regarding the qualification requirement for this position:

Name of the Vacancy: Auxiliary Nurse/Midwife (Post Code: 9/11)

Number of Vacancies: 196 (Sc-32, OBC-57, UR-107)

Period of Probation: Two years

Pay Brand: Appointed candidates will be coming under the pay brand of Rs.5200-20200+GP of Rs.2400.

Eligibility requirements:

Educational qualification: Candidates must have completed their matriculation from a recognized school/board or university and they must be qualified midwife registered with the Indian Nursing Council as Auxiliary Nurse/midwife.

Desirable qualification: Preference will be given to candidates with professional experience in semi government/government hospitals, welfare or home centres with working knowledge of Hindi

Age: Minimum age requirement is 18 years and maximum age requirement is 27 years, which is relaxable by 5 years for SC candidates, three years for OBC candidates and eight years for government employees/servants in accordance with the instructions issued by the central government from time to time.

Process of recruitment:

DSSSB will be conducting a combined Part I preliminary objective type examination for a duration of one year and Part II Main descriptive type examination for three hours at one go. Application fee:

The cost of application for this group C position is Rs.50 and this fee should be paid in the form of DD drawn in favor of the Secretary, DSSSB. Candidates can get the application from the office of DSSSB on all working days except Saturday and Sunday between 10:00am and 05.00pm.
