Brahmanand P.G. College was established in the year 1960 and initially the college was offering B. Sc agriculture alone. Later several courses were introduced by the college and now the college is offering courses under five faculties of education. The college is coming under the jurisdiction of Bundlekhand University.

Eligibility for admission:
• For bachelor of commerce, candidates must have completed their intermediate course in either arts, commerce or science faculty.
• For bachelor of education course, candidates can be graduates either in the arts, science or commerce faculty.
• For Bachelor of Science in biology, candidates must have completed their intermediate course in biology.
• For Bachelor of Science in mathematics, candidates must have completed their intermediate course in biology.
• For Bachelor of Science in home science, candidates must have completed their intermediate course in biology/arts/science.
• For Bachelor of Science in agriculture, candidates must have completed their intermediate course in agriculture/science.
• For Master of Science in agriculture, candidates must have completed their Bachelor of Science in agriculture/biology.
Admission procedure:
For Bachelor/Master of Science in agriculture and for B. Ed course alone, admission is made by Brahmanand P.G. College on the basis of marks secured by the students in entrance examination and for other courses, admission is purely on the merit secured by the students in the qualifying examination. The other norms followed by the college for admission are the norms set by the Bundelkhand University from time to time.
Properties of the college:
Brahmanand P.G. College has a separate horticulture garden extending to an area of 300 acres of land at a place called Dhanauri. The other lands belonging to the college are located at places like Santhoshpura, Mahoba District, Tola, Aratara, Inderpura and Banda District.
