Campus Placement Procedure for Calsoft
Engineering graduates in streams like Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Tele-communication Engineering can apply for campus placement in Calsoft. Eligible candidate must have obtained a minimum of 70% marks in the concerned stream of engineering. In 10th and 12th, such candidates must hold a minimum cut off percentage of 75% marks. Selection process includes written test, GD, and HR interview. Questions on DBMS, Data Structure, Networking, etc are asked for the written test.
Eligibility Criteria for Campus Placement in Calsoft
Fresh engineering graduates are considered for campus placement in Calsoft. B.E/B.Tech qualification should be obtained in any of the following subjects.

- Tele-communication Engineering
- Electronics and Communication Engineering
- Information Technology
Eligible candidate must be free of backlog papers. They must have obtained a minimum of 70% marks in the concerned stream of engineering. In 10th and 12th, the cut off percentage of marks required is 75%. Apart from these qualifications candidates need to have adequate technical and communication skills. Better knowledge in programming is an added advantage.
Campus Placement Procedure for Calsoft
Campus recruitment process is made through a written test, GD, and HR interview. Written test comprise questions from the following topics.
- Data Base Management Systems (DBMS)
- Data Structures
- Networking
- Software Programming
- Aptitude
Sixteen questions are asked from the section of DBMS and 5 questions from the section of data structures. Most of the questions are asked on SQL and its syntax. From networking, there will be 9 questions and from programming there are 20 questions. Maximum number of questions is asked from the section of aptitude. The section covers a maximum of 50 questions. Other than this, candidates need to write two software programs, one a pseudo code and a software program in C language. Duration for the written test is 2 hours.
Those who have cleared the written test are asked to attend the session of Group Discussion (GD). Communication and presentation skills of the candidate are tested in this session. Topics on national and social importance are asked for the session.
The final section of selection process is HR interview. Personality and attitude of the candidate is basically evaluated in this section. Thorough preparation is necessary to clear each of the section of the recruitment process. Solving previous year placement papers is quite useful to understand the pattern and type of questions asked for the test. Sound communication skills are important to win the stages of group discussion and interview. Preparations can be made self or with the aid of coaching centers.
