Campus Placement Procedure for Vedanta
The campus placement procedure for Vedanta includes the stages of written test, GD, and interview. The written test mainly comprises questions on Quantitative Aptitude. Engineering graduates below 24 years of age are allowed to participate in the selection process. B.E/B.Tech degree must be obtained in subjects such as Chemical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Metallurgy. Applicant should hold first class marks from 10th till graduation.
Eligibility Criteria for Campus Selection in Vedanta
The eligibility requirements specified by Vedanta are slightly different from that of other companies. Eligible candidate must be an engineering degree holder in any of the following subjects.

- Metallurgy
Engineering degree must be obtained in 10 + 2 + 4 pattern. Diploma entry engineers are not allowed to attend the test. Applicant must have passed all subjects in engineering in first attempt itself and should have no history of failure. They should have secured at least first class marks in engineering, 10th and 12th. Age of the aspirant must be less than 24 years.
Campus Placement Procedure for Vedanta
Campus recruitment in Vedanta is carried out through a 4 stage process, comprising of written test, Group Discussion, and interview. The written test comprises of 35 objective model questions that must be completed in 45 minutes duration. The syllabus for the test is based on the following topics.

Candidates who clear the written test are short listed for Group Discussion (GD). Cut off marks fixed for written test is around 21. The GD session is meant to evaluate the communication skills of the candidate and it will be completed in duration of 10 minutes. Adequate soft skills are required to clear GD session. The presentation skills of the candidate are also measured through this round.
The technical cum HR interview is the final stage of selection process. Questions will be mainly technical, related to the subject studied by the candidate. In order to clear this session, candidate needs to answer the questions precisely and with confidence. Their ability to work under stress and in meeting deadlines is evaluated. Aspirants must prepare well to clear each stages of the selection process, well in advance. Books on quantitative aptitude by R.S Agarwal can be referred for preparing the written test. Students can go through previous year’s placement papers collected from web. Solving previous year question papers is very effective to clear the written test.
