Care College of Pharmacy was started in the year 2004 with D.Pharm course. The B.Pharm and M. Pharm courses were introduced in the college in the years 2005 and 2009, respectively.

The college is affiliated to the Kakatiya University. All the pharmacy courses offered in the college are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and Pharmacy Council of India.

Courses offered:

The Care College of Pharmacy offers diploma, undergraduate and post graduate programmes in Pharmacy.

The undergraduate course available in the college is B. Pharm. The duration of this course is 4 years.

The diploma course available in the college is D. Pharm. The duration of this course is 2 years.

The post graduate course available in the college is M. Pharm. The duration of the course is 2 years.

Eligibility criteria for getting admission:

The candidates who have passed 10+2 exam (with physics, chemistry & mathematics or physics, chemistry & biology) with at least 50% marks are eligible for the B. Pharm course. The candidates must get qualified in the EAMCET entrance exam conducted by the state government in order to get admission into the B. Pharm course.

The candidates who have passed the intermediate or 10+2 examination (with physics, chemistry, biology/ mathematics) with at least 50% marks are eligible for the D. Pharm course. The candidates must admitted for D. Pharm course in the college based on merit in the intermediate or 10+2 examination through common counseling conducted by the college.

The Candidates who have passed B.Pharmacy with at least 60 % marks are eligible to get admission for the M. Pharm course. The candidates must get valid score in the GATE exam in order to get admission for the M. Pharm course.

Infrastructure:

The college has a serene, pleasant and peaceful atmosphere. The college has well equipped & spacious laboratories, spacious library, good hostel facility, state of the art class rooms, playground, games & sports facilities, girls waiting hall, recreation center, transportation facility, etc.

Each classroom of the college is equipped with modern teaching aids such as LCD projectors, Over Head Projectors and Slide Projectors. The spacious library of the college has thousands of books related to pharmaceutical sciences, as well as national and international journals. The small recreation center of the college equips table tennis, volley ball, bud badminton, cricket kit, and basket ball and some indoor games.
