Chandigarh Institute of Hotel Management(CIHM) conducts an admission process for admission to its one and a half year diploma programs in various fields of hotel management. CIHM is a well renowned Hotel Management Institute sponsored by Government of India and Chandigarh Administration. It is affiliated to the National Council for Hotel Management. A large number of candidates who want to pursue a career in field of hotel management & catering technology appear for its entrance test.

CIHM conducts a written entrance test followed by an interview for admission to its courses. Only those candidates who clear the written test are called for interviews. Due to the popularity of the institute and its placement records  a large number of candidates apply for CIHM’s courses.

Eligibility Criteria:

A candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with English as a subject. Those who are appearing for class 12th exams in 2010 can also apply.
Also a candidate should not be more than 22 years(25 years for SC/ST) of age as on 1st August, 2010.

Availability of Application forms:

The forms will be directly available from institute counter. The form can also be obtained by post from the institute by sending a Demand Draft along with the request for form.

Last date for submitting completed application form: June End, 2010
Date of Aptitude Test: July 2nd week, 2010
Display of Merit List: Mid-July, 2010
