Chandigarh Institute of Hotel Management 2011
Chandigarh Institute of Hotel Management is most famous and reputed hotel management institution in north-east of India. It is sponsored by the Indian Government and the administration of Chandigarh. The National Council for Hotel Management has given the recognition and accreditation to this institution. There is a list of large number of candidates have made their way clear for this institute in the field of catering technology and hotel management. One and half year diploma courses in different fields of hotel management are being offered by this institution and orient an admission criterion for that.
A written test is conducted every year by the Chandigarh Institute of Hotel Management followed by a personal interview to undertake aspiring students. The candidates who have successfully completed the written test are then called for interviews. The institute has excellent records for the placements of its students in different reputed firms of India and shows higher potential for the upcoming candidates. It has a high tech campus with advanced equipments.

2. Bakery & Confectionery (30 Seats)
3. Front Office Operations (35 Seats)
4. Food & Beverage Service (70 Seats)
5. House Keeping Operations (35 Seats)
Eligibility Criteria:
A candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with English as a subject. Those who are appearing for class 12th exams in 2011 can also apply.
Also a candidate should not be more than 22 years (25 years for SC/ST) of age as on 1st August, 2011.
Availability of Application forms:
The forms will be directly available from institute counter. The form can also be obtained by post from the institute by sending a Demand Draft along with the request for form.

Last date for submitting completed application form: end week of the June, 2011
Date of Aptitude Test: 1st week of July, 2011
Display of Merit List: 1st week of July, 2011
