I had applied for the 5th CHT programme administered by NCHMCT which was supposed to start from 16th Sep'2009. As per their website
i.e www.nchmct.org it is mentioned that the merit list shall be announced on 6th Oct'2009. It is going to be almost 2 months now. Everytime I call NCHMCT Head Quarter situated at A-34,Sector-62,Noida, the concerned person Mrs. Jhawa (she is the one who is responsible for producing the merit list) says that the programme is delayed because the merit list would take another 15 more days as they are verifying the marks from IGNOU. They do not tell the truth and wants us to keep on waiting and waste our precious time. I am surprised that verification can take so much time. I know there are lots of other candidates who are waiting for the same.
Please let me know when the merit list is most likely to be announced.

this is a very surprising case......but i must tell u that no one other than the concerned autheority can help you know better the progress of your merit list........

only the concerned authorites can help you accurately and for that you have to go on the officia website

NCHMCT started the CHT programme with a view to develop trained faculty resource for the hospitality industry. The fifth batch of standalone CHT programme will be conducted in mid-September 2009 at Institute of Hotel Management (IHM) Delhi; IHM Thiruvananthapuram; Dr AIHM Chandigarh and CIT Tharamani, Chennai. The M Sc programmes will be conducted only at IHM Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, New Delhi (Pusa). Graduates having a three year degree in Hotel and Hospitality Administration or equivalent, in addition to two year teaching/hotel industry experience, are eligible to apply for the M Sc programme.

Go and contact the director of the programme, there is no point in waiting.

You can contact some other students too and can force them to do the right thing, as this kind of situation is not a usual one, and it is affecting your future.

what is the age limit for the CHT programe ?
when bagalore or chennai will conduct CHT programe?
