CIS examination is conducted by the Insurance companies of India on national level. Questions are asked on the basis of practise of life insurance. After the examination, students will get job in the field of insurance companies to provide a healthy environment to the customers.

Qualification for appearing in this exam:

Candidates applying for the paper must have passed graduation degree. They should be citizen of India. There is no restriction of graduation background, both Science and non-Science graduate can apply but it is a good option for non-Science background students. Students who are going to have their passing certificate can also apply.

Scoring and Negative Marking:

Question paper contains questions which are of subjective type and these questions are asked in sub-question type. There is no negative marking in the paper so students can attempt all the questions.

Mode of Exam:

Paper is a subjective paper and questions asked are of descriptive type needed to be answered in answer sheet provided.

Format:

Questions asked are of subjective type, there is 1 compulsory short notes question and from rest questions, 7 are to be attempted.

Paper Pattern:

Paper of Practise of general insurance is a descriptive one and there are 10 long answer type questions in it. These questions are divided into sub-questions for the ease of students. Only 8 questions from it are needed to be attempted and question no.1 is compulsory to be attempted. All questions are of subjective type.

Marking:

All questions are of equal marks except 1st question.

Schedule:

Paper is needed to be finished within given time of 3 hours.
