Malaviya National Institute of Technology was established in the year 1963 under the Government of India. The institute works or funtions on the prime motto of diligence leads to excellence. The institute is located in the famous pink city of country. Professor R.P. Dahiya is on the posts of director of the institute at present. The institute is a recognized education and research institution with an academic staff of total 150 personnel. The institute is fully funded by MHRD and is considered as one of the Centres of excellence in the country.

Job Profile:

Applications are invited from eligible and qualified candidates for filling up the following vacnt position of Consultants/OSD in Malaviya National Institute of Technology. Candidates will be recruited on contract basis only. Selected candidates will have to serve at Secretarriat NIT Council, New Delhi. Selected candidates will have to perform the following works on the specified position:

- Providing support to the Secretariat of the COuncil of NITS on some prescribed matters.
- Undertaking the work assigned by the Member Secretary of the Council of NITs from time to time.
- Also, candidates will have to complete the assigned work in the given time frame.

Initially, candidates will be appointed on contract basis for a period of six month. However, the term of contract can be extended up later as per the requirement of the Secretariat.

Eligibility:

Candidates are required to be within the prescribed age limit set for the post or else their application will not be considered by Malaviya National Institute of Technology. Uneligible candidates are not required to apply for the specified post.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates are required to be a Science Graduate degree from a recognized institute or university. Candidates are required to have minimum 10 years of experience in Administration, Training, Recruitment rules and legal matters. Retired government employees, who have atleast 10 years experience in the relevant field are also eligible for the post.

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be provided the consolidated remuneration deicded by the Secretariat of Counicl of NITs.

Selection Process:

Merely fulfilling the prescribed eligiblity conditions does not confer any right upon the selection of candidates. Eligible candidates will be called for the interview test against the selection committee on a specified date.
