Osmania University College of Engineering holds the pride of being the biggest and oldest among the engineering colleges functioning in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The university came into existence eleven years after the formation of Osmania University (i.e.) in the year 1929 and it was the sixth college to be introduced during the British rule in India. • For Full-time B.E courses offered by the college, admission is done based on EAMCET rank of the candidates

• Admission to full-time M.E/M. Tech courses offered by the institution is based on the GATE Score of the candidates

• For M.E in Tool Design and CAD/CAM alone, admission is done based on the entrance examination conducted by the CITD, Hyderabad
