Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering is a famous engineering college in Navi Mumbai which was established in the year 1964. Eligibility criteria

Candidates who are applying for the undergraduate engineering courses offered at this institute should fulfill certain eligibility requirements specified by the concerned authority. Such candidates should be an Indian citizen. They should have passed or should be appearing for Higher Secondary or its equivalent examination with the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English. Candidates should pass the concerned qualifying examination with minimum fifty percent marks. Backward category candidates need only forty five percent marks for the same. Candidates who possess the eligibility requirements mentioned above can apply for the first year admission to Bachelor of Engineering courses offered at this institute. Those who have completed any diploma course in Engineering or Technology are also eligible to apply for the Bachelor of Engineering course. They can apply for the direct second year admission without entering first year. They should have obtained their diploma from any polytechnic college affiliated to Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE) or approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). Medium of instruction for the diploma courses offered in such institutes should be English. Candidates should complete their diploma course with minimum fifty percent marks.

Admission procedure of Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering

This institute offers both first year admission and direct second year admission. Those who have passed higher secondary or its equivalent examination can apply for the first year admission. They should have completed the concerned course in 10+2 pattern. Diploma holders in engineering or technology can apply for the direct second year admission as per the rules of Directorate of Technical Education, Mumbai. Admission to first year admission will be based on the rank obtained in the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET).
