United Bank of India was establsihed on July 19, 1969 under the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1970. United Bank of India is one of the 14 nationalised banks. The bank’s name was changed to United Bank of India from Bangal Central Loan Company Limited on October 12, 1950. The head office of the bank was also intially located at 4 Clive Ghat Street but later it was shifted to 11 Hemanta Basu Sarani, Kolkata. Several other banks like Camilla Union Bank Limited, Tezpur Industrial Bank Limited etc amalgated with the bank on December 18, 1950.

Job Profile:

Union Bank of India is looking forward to recruit eligible and qualified candidates for filling up the following vacant position of Customer Relationship Executive. Only online application will be accepted by the bank. Also, the candidates are to be recruited purely on contract basis only. Candidates are advised to ensure their eligibility for the post before applying online at the website.

Eligibility:

The minimum age limit set for the post of customer Relationship Executive is 21 years.
The maximum age limit set for the post of customer Relationship Executive is 30 years.

Reserved categories candidates may be provided relaxation in the upper age limit as per the specified rules. Candidates belonging to SC/ST categories will be provided relaxation of 5 years in the maximum age limit while OBC candidates will get relaxation of 3 years only. Persons with Disability will get relaxation of 10 years. There is also few years relaxation for Ex-Serviceman and Commissioned officers will.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates are required to be a Graduate from a recognized university for applying for the post of Customer Relationship Executive in Union Bank of India. All interested candidates are required to possess the prescribed educational qualification or else they will not be considered eligible for the specified position in Union Bank of India.

Application Fee:

The amount of application fee that is need to be paid by the candidates (only General and OBC candidates) is Rs. 300 only. However, reserved categories candidates will have to submit an application fee of Rs. 50 only. The amount of the fee is need to be deposited in any Union Bank of India branch in India. The amount is to be deposited in cash only with the help of a payment challan which can be easily downloaded from the website of bank.

Selection Process:

The written test for making selection of best suitable candidates will be held on 11 December 2011. Successfull candidates of this written test will then be called to attend a personal interview test.

How to apply: Interested as well as eligible candidates should possess a valid e-mail ID before applying online at the bank’s website. The registration link for applying online, will be made available from 4 October 2011 to 24 October 2011. All candidates are required to apply online on or before the last date. Candidates are also required to take two printout of the registration slip and keep it safe to themselves for future reference.
