Very recently, Punjab & Sind Bank has invited applications for the job profile of Chartered Accountant. Vacancies are available in two different scales, MMGS –II and MMGS –III. CA holders with adequate work experience are eligible to apply. Interested candidates with mentioned qualification can send their application via bank portal. Selection process is done on the basis of interview conducted by the bank authorities.


Eligibility Criteria for Chartered Accountant Recruitment in Punjab & Sind Bank

Basic educational qualification mentioned for both MMGS –II and MMGS –III is same. Candidates having bachelor’s degree and a pass in the final examination of ICAI (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India) are eligible. In case of MMGS –II, a minimum of two years work experience in any of the following areas will be preferred.

  • Banking
  • Foreign Exchange
  • Merchant Banking
  • Project Appraisal
  • Risk Management
  • Treasury Management

Also in this case, the upper age limit specified for the applicant is 32 years.

Those who are below 35 years of age and having 5 year work experience preferably in processing corporate proposals, are eligible for MMGS –III scale. Relaxation on the age will be provided for candidates belonging to reservation group. OBC candidates can have 3 year age relaxation where as SC/ST are provided with 5 year relaxation.

Selection Criteria for Chartered Accountant in Punjab & Sind Bank

Selection of suitable candidates to the job profile is done on the basis of interview. Interview is conducted by the bank itself. Total marks given for the interview is 100. One needs to score at least 40 marks to qualify. Selection will be done on the priority basis of marks obtained in interview.

Application Procedure for Chartered Accountant in Punjab & Sind Bank

Application fee for participating in the recruitment process is Rs. 200/-. This can be paid using a fee challan collected from the bank portal. Challan form must be carefully filled and submitted through any of the branches of Punjab & Sind Bank, having core banking facility. NEFT payment through any other bank branch is also possible.

After fee payment, one can start with application process. Only those applications submitted via online mode will be accepted. Application form can be collected from bank portal. Fee payment details (like transaction id, branch name), education details, communication details as well as other relevant data must be correctly entered while filling the online application form. Once the application form is submitted properly, candidate will get intimation through e-mail.
