Chartered Accountant, South Indian Bank
Bank profile: It is one of oldest banks in South India. It was the first private sector bank to open a NRI branch in 1992. It provides services for every class of the community. It has been aiming to project itself as a vibrant, fast growing and a service oriented bank.
Job profile: The chartered accountants will be responsible for maintain and organizing the bank’s financial accounts. They will also be responsible for carrying out regular audits and they will be required to prepare balance sheets.
Eligibility: A candidate must be an Indian national and must not exceed the age of 28 years as on 21.08.2009. However, relaxation can be claimed as per the rules.
Educational Qualifications: A candidate must possess ACA as the minimum qualification. A candidate having an experience will be preferred.
No. of posts: There are 25 posts for the chartered accountants in grade I1.
Pay scale: The candidates will be initially given an approximate pay of Rs22000 per month plus HRA, CCA etc. The cost to the company will be Rs544000 yearly.
Selection process: The candidates will have to appear for a group discussion which will be followed by an interview. The selection process will take place at Thrissur (Kerala).
How to apply: The candidates are required to apply as per the format given on the website. The candidates are required to send a 300 word letter describing “Why I consider myself suitable for appointment in The South Indian Bank Ltd” The candidates are required to send a DD of Rs500 (for GEN/OBC) and Rs250 (for SC/ST) drawn in the favor of The South Indian Bank Ltd payable at Thrissur (Kerala State). All the applications must be sent to Deputy General Manager, (personnel), The South Indian Bank ltd, sib house, mission quarters, Thrissur – 680 001 through ordinary post. The candidates must write “Application for the post of chartered accountant” on the envelope.

I am studying B.COM next i study to “chartered account” please tell for study in chennai?
i have applied CA entrance exam for june 2009 but i have not qualified so when is the exams and what is the last date to apply for the exams
