Details on CISF Pharmacist Recruitment 2012
Candidates who have completed graduation or diploma in pharmacy are eligible to apply for the post of Pharmacist in Central Industrial Security Force. Candidates who fall in the age group of 20- 30 years are eligible to apply. Selection procedure is based on the performance in written test, physical test and medical examination.
Eligibility Criterion for CISF Pharmacist Recruitment 2012
Age Restrictions
Candidates who are between 20 and 30 years of age at the time of application are eligible to apply. Those who have domicile of Jammu and Kashmir and those who are victims of communal riots in Gujarat can avail relaxation up to 5 years in the case of upper age. In case of candidates belonging to reserved categories; the upper age limit is 5 years as per the norms issued by the Government of India. Upper age limit for central government employees is 45 years.
Educational Qualifications
Candidates are required to posses the following qualifications so as to be eligible to apply for this post.
- A pass in Higher Secondary Education from a recognized board of studies
- Diploma or Graduation in Pharmacy from any institution, approved by Central or State Government
Apart from this, candidates should have registered as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948. Those who have work experience in relevant field will be given preference.
Physical Standards
Male candidates applying for this post are required to have minimum height of 170 cms. They should have a chest size of 80- 85 cms. Female candidates should have at least 157 cms height. Candidates who belong to reserved categories can seek relaxations in terms of Physical standards as per the notification issued by Central Industrial Security Force. All candidates should have minimum distant vision of 6/6 and 6/9 of two eyes and high colour vision.
Selection Procedure
Recruitment to the post of Pharmacist in Central Industrial Security Force is conducted on the basis of performance in written test, Physical Standard Test, Basic Vocational Aptitude Test, and Medical Examination. Written test will contain objective type questions for a maximum mark of 100. The maximum time allotted for the entire test is 2 hours. Questions will be asked from the topics prescribed for Diploma/ Degree in Pharmacy. Those who have cleared the written test will be short listed for further test. Final selection will be based on the scores obtained written test, physical test and in medical examination.
