Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University is a very well known university and has a full range of courses to offer. Among the courses offered by the Universities, there are both UG and PG courses. B. A. and B.Com are such undergraduate courses. In these courses, students are required to take up optional subjects. Among the optional subjects, Understanding Prose is one.

Duration and Marks of the Examination:

The exam is of maximum 70 marks and students have to write the answers in three hours.

Number of questions:

There are five questions in the question paper and all of them are compulsory.

Pattern:

The exam of “Understanding Prose” consists of five compulsory questions. The questions are all of equal marks. Thus each of the questions is of 14 marks. There are internal choices in each of the questions. The last question has short notes. There are four short notes given and two are to be attempted. Each note carries 7 marks. This paper carries some fixed credits, so giving importance to this paper is very important. Also, this paper can also be freshening for the B.Com students.
