Dr. Babasahed Ambedkar Open University, Ahmedabad is the seventh Open University. The university offers 72 programmes with Bachelors of Arts and Bachelor of Commerce being two premier ones. The Understanding Drama is an optional subject in both these courses. Understanding Drama is an amazing subject where students get to know about the core of drama, different forms of drama etc. This subject is really beneficial for those students who want to make it big in this field.

About the Paper:

The written exam is of 70 marks and 30 marks of this 8 credit subject are allotted to continuous assessment. The paper is such that these 70 marks are equally divided among five questions of fourteen marks each. The instructions and other details of the examination are mentioned on the first page of the question paper itself.

The Paper Pattern and Marking Scheme:

The five questions of the question paper are such that the student has an option for each question, that is, for every question to be answered the student has an option to answer one among the two alternatives available for that question. In question 5 the student has to write short notes on two of the available 4 choices. These short notes carry 7 marks each, while all other questions are long answer questions carrying 14 marks for each answer.
