Hello Sir, I want to know that can a person having Master Degree in Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology run a Medical shop? Will the Government issue a License for Medical shop?

First, you need to get a retail license for opening a Medical Shop from the State Government Authorities. You have to make sure of the availability of a Registered Pharmacist in the store during business hours. If you have already qualified B.Pharm and registered in the Pharmacy Council then you can open Pharmacy with your certificate itself. You should have one refrigerator in working condition for storing some of the medicines. The B.Pharm certificate is necessary for getting pharmacy license. These are some of the conditions to open a Medical Shop.

For running a medical shop you must have a registered pharmacist license and all other necessary approvals from concerned departments for your shop.

For registration as a pharmacist one must complete D.Pharma or B.Pharma qualification from a PCI approved college. On the basis of qualification you can get yourself registered at PCI for license of pharmacist.

Sir i am going to finish pharmD. So after finishing and getting pharmD degree i want to open a medical store. So what will be the eligible criteria for running medical store
