No, a diploma in civil engineering is not enough to become an architect. Architecture is a separate profession that requires specific education and training. To become an architect, you would need to pursue a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) degree from a recognized institution. However, your background in civil engineering may be helpful in pursuing a career in architecture.

If you have completed a Diploma in Civil Engineering and wish to pursue a career in Architecture, you may be able to apply for the Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) program offered by various colleges and universities in India.

The eligibility criteria for admission may vary depending on the institution, but generally, you would need to have a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in your Diploma in Civil Engineering and meet other requirements such as having a valid score in NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) or other relevant entrance exams.

It is advisable to check the eligibility requirements and application process of the specific college or university you are interested in to ensure that you meet the necessary criteria and deadlines.
