Yes, the Diploma course is equivalent to 12th standard. The Diploma course and 12th standard both can be pursued after completion of 10th standard. The duration of Diploma course is 3 years and the duration of 11th and 12th standard is 2 years. The Diploma course certificate has more value than 12th standard certificate in terms of job opportunities and even the candidates who have pursued Diploma course can gain more practical knowledge than the candidates who have pursued 12th standard.
