Every branch will have some pros and cons.

Unlike other branches, ECE students will have a heavy competition to get a seat in a good college, at BTech level students trying to get ECE will be high in number.

You should be good in maths, if you are not good in in differentiation and integration then you will face problem.

You should know about the required components of your experiment, it will be difficult to remember if you do not have interest about them.

Basic knowledge should be good, Physics in 1st year and other initial subjects will be crucial, if you mess with basic than your large will be screwed.

Once graduated you will be one among millions who have the same degree.

Drawbacks of studying Diploma in ECE course:-

- The competition is quite tough to get an ECE seat in a good college.
- If you lack basic knowledge, then the lab practicals will be challenging for you.
- The scope for ECE in our country is extremely less when compared to other branches.

There are not many drawbacks for ECE.

1) It's a difficult competition to get an ECE seat in a good university.

2) If you are not a decent math expert or a strong math specialist, you may be faced with a variety of problems in the core subjects.

3) If you do not have practical skills, then the Practical training of the study would be difficult for you.

4) The scope of ECE in our nation is much less than in other countries.

Drawbacks of studying Diploma in ECE course:

1) Difficult to study when compared to the IT and CS branch.

2) Diploma in ECE course students are still studying old concepts, some of which have been eliminated, others of which are rarely utilized.

3) You have too many choices in which area to take the weather in electronics or communication & there are divisions of these 2 also you get confused & remember that these choices are not much accessible of India & eventually you have to go to software (available in a lot).
