I have completed my 12th science and if there is any possibility that i can apply wihtout doing iti course for Train engine driver?

Eligibility to apply for Train Engineer Driver:-

A candidate must have completed class 10th or an equivalent degree from any recognized board or institute to be eligible to apply to become a train engineer driver. They must have an ITI pass or a diploma in Mechanical / Electrical/ Electronics/ Automobile Engineering from any AICTE-approved college to get eligible for this post.

A train driver in Indian Railway starts their career as a diesel/electric Assistant loco driver. To become an Assistant Loco Pilot or Train Driver a candidate must have passed class 10th or equivalent from a recognized board. A candidate must have completed an ITI or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile Engineering from a recognized institute by AICTE. The age of the candidate should be between 18 to 30 years.

Railway Recruitment Board conducts the selection procedure for an Assistant Loco Pilot. The selection procedure is held in four stages- First Stage, Second Stage, Computer Based Aptitude Test, and Document Verification.

Eligibility criteria required to apply for Train Engine Driver:

The basic eligibility criteria required to apply for Train Engine Driver is given below,

@ Candidates must have completed SSLC or Matriculation with ITI course or the course completed Act Apprentices or Diploma or Degree in Engineering to be eligible.

@ The minimum age required is 18 years and maximum age should not exceed 28 years.

@ As far as my best knowledge is concerned ITI from a recognized institute is mandatory in order to be eligible.

--- To become a train driver, the candidate should have minimum educational qualification of 10 + 2 with an ITI certificate from a recognised board.
As you have completed your 12th with science stream hence, I would like to suggest you to take admission in ITI trade and after completion of that you will be eligible to apply for train engine driver posts.

°°° To become an assistant loco pilot or train driver, candidate must have qualified in class 10th or equivalent qualification from a recognised board and they must have completed an ITI course or diploma in mechanical / electrical/ electronics/ automobile engineering from an institution recognized by AICTE.

Any student with 12th qualification can apply for Assistant Loco-pilot in Indian Railways. The minimum qualification for this post is 12th standard from an recognised board or ITI course from a college recognised by NCVT/SCVT.

The students completed diploma or degree in mechanical engineering may also apply for the post of loco-pilot. The recruitment is followed by a competitive exam by Indian Railway. Once you get selected you have to go through training and learning phase.

Educational Qualification:-

>> They must have completed an ITI pass or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile Engineering from an institution recognized by AICTE.

To be qualified to become a railway engine driver, a candidate must have completed class 10th or have earned an equivalent degree from any recognized board or institution. For consideration for this position, candidates must have either an ITI or a diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Automobile Engineering from an institution recognized by the AICTE.

Eligibility to apply for Train Enginer Driver:-

Candidates who have completed 10th standard can write the exam conducted for recruiting candidates to the railway engine driver post.

Age limit specified for such candidates is between 18 to 30 years.

Candidates who are applying for the railway engine driver exam should also complete ITI course in any specified trade.

RRB conducts examination for recruitment of loco pilot in railway.

The eligibility to appear for the examination is that candidate must have passed ITI or diploma course from a recognised institute.

The examination is conducted in various stages are final selection.

Age limit to appear for examination is 18 to 30 years with relaxation in upper age limit for final selection.

Eligibility:

1. After 12th if you want to become a loco pilot (engine driver) in Indian Railways then you require either ITI or diploma in mechanical /electrical/electronic/automobile .

2. If your subjects in 12th were PCM then you have plenty of opportunities in Railways.

3. You must be an Indian citizen.

Of course 2 year ITI Course is gving this ALP job.
