Hello Respected. I am Virendra Ghatge. I've completed my diploma in Mechanical Engineering. And now I want to get recruited in Indian Air Force in Technical side. Please guide me with your knowledge, as it will be very helpful for me.

Yes you can join Indian air force immediately after diploma. You will be recruited as an airman in the technical 'x' branch subjected to following eligibility criteria:

1. Requires 50% marks
and
2. Age limit between 19 to 22.

Please note that you shall have pursued the diploma from any well recognized institute.

The candidate should pass class 12th or equivalent from a recognised board in science stream with physics, chemistry and mathematics as compulsory subject.

The candidate's age must be in between 16.5 to 19 years.

The candidate must be an unmarried male.

The candidate should be a citizen of India.

The candidate should be physically fit as per the requirements.

The minimum height of the candidate should be of 160 cms.

The eye sight of the candidate must be 6/6 without glasses.

If you satisfy all the above, then you can easily join Indian Air Force.

After completion of diploma course in mechanical engineering you can join Indian Air force through Airman in Group X technical.

Applicant should have completed diploma course from a recognised institution or equivalent qualification with 50% marks in aggregate are eligible for airmen in group x technical exam.

°°° On the basis of your Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, you can apply for group x technical trade in Indian Air Force.

°°° Selection will be based on the performance in the written exam and physical fitness test.

°°° This trade is specially for diploma engineer and you have to pass various tests related to a field before your selected and also make sure you are medically fit , according to Indian Air Force rules.

°°° Applicants age should be between 17 to 20 years.

°°° Minimum height should be 160 cms.

°°° Eye sight should be 6/6 without glasses.

°°° The candidate should be an unmarried male.
