The candidate should be from Nepal, you have to appear for the DASA test. Through that, test you will be admitted in DTU as a NRI quota. If you are from Nepal, you have to appear for the DASA test.

Polytechnic Colleges:

1. Government Polytechnic, Joida.

2. ARJ Polytechnic College.

3. APC Roy Polytechnic.

Nepali degree would be valid provided it's from a recognised university .
From next year , Nepalese would be able to compete for seats in prestigious IITs to persue any of the course.
For this IIT will open their entrance exam to Nepali students.

Citizen of Nepal or Bhutan must possess passport when entering in India as well as visa is also required.

For getting admission , one can study in India under schemes like self financing and DASA by paying the fees as well as under Scholarship provided by Indian Government through Embassy of India under programs like study in India , ICCR , Colombo plan, and complex scholarship.
The exam is quite easy, you need to have good score in class 12th.

--- YES, you can take admission in polytechnic colleges in India being in Nepali student.
Earlier it was not possible for the Nepali students but now it has made possible.

The selection process will be same as date for the Indian students.
Selection of the candidates will be done through polytechnic entrance test.

After completion of polytechnic, you can go for B.Tech through lateral entry scheme.
