Possibility to study BTech(Automobile Engineering) for Environmental Engineering Diploma student?


Sir, I have got admission in Environmental Engineering in my Diploma course. I have wanted Automobile but I haven’t got it. So, I would like to know that after my Diploma can I choose to study Automobile Engineering in BTech.

You won't get lateral entry admission in B.Tech (automobile engineering), if you have diploma in environmental engineering. Both streams are totally different.

You can apply for first year admission in B.Tech, through entrance exam like JEE Main, but they don't give lateral entry.
