Candidates must have 10/ITI degree from a recognised university.

The duration of this course is 3 years.

With the subjects PCM with minimum 50%marks.

No, a Btech through distance education is declared invalid by the Supreme Court and AICTE in India. So you cannot do Btech through distance education which approved in job.

To pursue a correspondence BTech (Bachelor of Technology) program in Telangana State (TS), you can consider the following steps:

1. Research: Conduct thorough research on universities or institutions that offer correspondence BTech programs in TS. Look for recognized and accredited institutions that provide distance education or correspondence courses in engineering.

2. Eligibility Criteria: Review the eligibility criteria for the BTech program. Typically, candidates should have completed their 10+2 education with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects. Some institutions may also require a minimum percentage or grade in the qualifying examination.

3. Choose a Specialization: Decide on the specific branch or specialization of BTech you wish to pursue, such as Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Civil Engineering, etc. Ensure that the institution you choose offers the specialization you are interested in.

4. Contact the Institution: Reach out to the selected institutions offering correspondence BTech programs in TS. Inquire about their admission procedures, curriculum, course duration, fees, study materials, and any other relevant details. Gather information on whether the institution follows semester-wise or annual examination patterns.

5. Application Process: Obtain the application form from the institution through their website or by visiting their office. Fill out the application form with accurate details and attach the required documents, such as educational certificates, identification proof, passport-size photographs, and any other specified documents.

6. Fee Payment: Pay the prescribed application fee or program fees as instructed by the institution. Some institutions may require you to pay the fees upfront, while others may offer installment payment options. Ensure that you understand the fee structure and payment procedures.

7. Study Materials and Classes: After completing the admission process and paying the fees, the institution will provide you with study materials. Depending on the institution, you may also have access to online classes, video lectures, or study materials through a learning management system.

8. Self-Study and Preparation: Engage in self-study and follow the prescribed study materials provided by the institution. Allocate sufficient time for study, practice, and completion of assignments. Stay organized and disciplined in your learning approach.

9. Examinations and Evaluation: Familiarize yourself with the examination pattern and evaluation methods followed by the institution. Some institutions conduct regular assessments, assignments, and periodic examinations, while others may have a final examination at the end of each semester or academic year.

10. Completion of Program: Complete the required coursework, assignments, and examinations as per the institution's guidelines. Ensure that you meet all the academic requirements and attain the minimum passing grades specified by the institution.

11. Degree Awarded: Upon successful completion of the BTech program, the institution will award you the Bachelor's degree in Technology in the chosen specialization.

Telangana BTech Admission is done on the basis of either JEE Main or the state-level entrance exam TS EAMCET 2023.

>> Admission to the IITs and NITs can be done through JEE Advanced as well.
